The creators of Dead Lead Exchange are industry veterans who have owned franchises, launched franchises, and done franchise sales for over 30 years. The advent of and popularity of the Internet has opened a new arena for us all to gather information about things we are interested in.

To capitalize on this access the Franchise Directories were born where a consumer could go to see all the concepts available. The down side to this easy access is that it has flooded the market with "LEADS" that are extremely expensive. This large number of leads has then by the very nature of the "numbers game" given rise to extremely large databases of dead leads of people who did not want to buy your franchise. So what do you do with a list of 1000 leads that you paid top dollar for? EXCHANGE THEM FOR NEW ONES.

We created Dead Lead Exchange to be a community where these leads can be shared openly and freely between those in the same industry. We were tired of looking at a database of thousands of useless leads and knowing each of them cost from $25-$50!!!

We want our members to be involved in the building of this lead pool, to self police its membership, give feedback and ratings on leads and members. Why? So that Dead Lead Exchange becomes a trusted, safe place for the franchise community to share both leads and information.

We decided that the best way to do that was to have a nominal annual membership that covers the cost of keeping this site up and allow the members to pull as many leads as they want any time they want at no charge.

So where do the leads come from? Ah, here is the beauty of the system. You upload your dead lead list into the database and you get a download "credit" for each lead that you submit.

Upload 1000 and download 1000. Upload 200 and download 200. You get the idea.

As you continue to market and advertise, you will acquire more dead leads that can be uploaded for more download credit. So, the system is populated and fueled by the members for the members.
